Hello!

My name is Brendan Hurt, and I’m a graphic designer who infuses my passion into hard work and getting down to business. While brand design is my pride and joy, I like to cast a wide net, and I particularly love packaging, motion design, and campaign work. Born and raised in Vancouver, I started my design journey earning a Certificate of Design from BCIT and moved on to study at Capilano University’s IDEA program.

As a self-described pop culture nerd, I get inspired by every medium of artistic expression and storytelling, whether it be through film and TV or through music. I’m constantly drawing inspiration from classic tropes from movies, to compelling songwriting, and album covers. After all, elegant design is nothing without a great narrative to back it. As designers, we have the privilege of being able to pull inspiration to inform our work from just about anywhere, solving real-world problems we all face every day.
